RATCH Group Public Company Limited has contributed 40 tCO2eq of carbon credits from the Energy Efficiency Project through LED Lighting Replacement by Ratchaburi Power Plant to support the Executive Program in Energy Literacy for a Sustainable Future, Class 21 by Thailand Energy Academy. On this occasion, Mr. Prasert Sinsukprasert, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Energy, presented a certificate to Mrs. Wadeerat Charoencoop, Chief Financial Officer of RATCH Group Public Company Limited.
The Energy Efficiency Project through LED Lighting Replacement by Ratchaburi Power Plant, jointly implemented by the Company and its subsidiary, Ratchaburi Electricity Generating Company Limited, involved the installation of high-efficiency LED lighting systems in the area of thermal and combined-cycle power plants, totaling 6,577 units, which is an energy saving measures following by Ratchaburi Electricity Generating Company Limited’s energy-saving policy. This project was registered under Thailand’s Voluntary Emission Reduction Program (T-VER) in 2018 and has been officially verified for the greenhouse gas emission reduction of 3,064 tCO2eq, aligned with the Company’s greenhouse gas reduction strategy.
